Vital Villa Summer Interview: Holte Manic

Vital Villa Summer Interview: Holte Manic

Holte Manic steps up for the Vital Villa members interviews.

Q: When did you become a Villa fan and why?

It was a good number of years ago, I was 6 or 7 years old, My dad has always followed the villa and brought me a season ticket in the 92/93 season since then I`ve never looked back!!

Q: The season just gone, good bad or ugly? What did you think of it?

I thought it was a good season, not many teams get to go to Wembley twice in a season and still be in with a shout of four place in the league till the last day of the season.

Q: Best and worst moment of last season?

Best would have to be the day out at Wembley against United.
Worst I think it`s the same as every villa fan, Stamford Bridge!

Q: James Milner... is he off do you think? If so, what price (realistically) should Villa hold out for? If off to Man City, which - if any - of their players would you want in exchange?

I can't see him staying anymore, when the rumours started I thought there was no chance but now I cant say the same. If we got 25-30m for him though I`d take it for sure. I`d prefer 20m and Ireland or Richards.

Q: What signings (type of player or specific name/s if you wish) would you like to see Villa buy this summer?

We NEED a new Striker and Midfielder, someone like Robbie Keane and Miguel Veloso from Sporting.

Q: Where do you stand on Martin O'Neill (I don't mean literally, that would be assault) ?

I personally feel that we can lose any of our players but if we lose MON then we will drop down the league. He`s built he`s team and now he needs time to build the squad.

Q: Your opinion of Randy and the board?

I very happy with Randy, I think he`s one of the best chairman in the PL. Could do with that bit of extra cash to compete with the likes of Spurs and Everton next season.

Q: Favourite current player and favourite all time player/s

For me it is Ashley Young, he didn`t have the best season last year but I hope he will get over it and storm the 10/11 Season.

Q: Do you expect progress next season, difficult to answer before the transfer window closes I know?

I think we will do very well to beat last season, but I don`t think we will with the money spurs and Citeh will be spending.

Q: Right, lets lower the tone... which celebrity would you most like to bang and which (male I would think) celeb would you most like to thump!?!
