Vital Villa Summer Interview: Mattyslost

Vital Villa Summer Interview: Mattyslost

Mattyslost steps up for the Vital Villa members interviews.

Q: When did you become a Villa fan and why?

Been a Villa since I was a young lad. The whole family are from Sutton Coldfield so it was in my blood I suppose.

Q: The season just gone, good bad or ugly? What did you think of it?

All things considered it was a good season, I mean we got to a Final and a Semi and finished 6th! Certainly a better season the than the World`s richest club.

Q: Best and worst moment of last season?

Best was beating the Blues as always, worst was taking my boy to his 1st game against Wigan and for us to lose 2-0 mind you he did fall asleep in the 2nd half and didn`t have the heart to wake him up (he`s only 3)

Q: James Milner... is he off do you think? If so, what price (realistically) should Villa hold out for? If off to Man City, which - if any - of their players would you want in exchange?

This is a bloody tricky one to be honest. He should really stay but if the club choose to sell him then 20m+ is a great bit of business, I mean come on is he really worth what we are asking? No! Just the same as Carrick wasn`t worth the money that United paid for him. I`d like to see Ireland or Bellamy come to Villa in the opposite direction.

Q: What signings (type of player or specific name/s if you wish) would you like to see Villa buy this summer?

Darren Bent, Robbie Keane, Joe Cole, Tim Cahill.

Q: Where do you stand on Martin O'Neill (I don't mean literally, that would be assault) ?

Q: Your opinion of Randy and the board?

Aston Villa is a model club of how a club should be run!

Q: Favourite current player and favourite all time player/s
Current is James Milner as he gives 100%, all time would have to be the Lord himself.

Q: Do you expect progress next season, difficult to answer before the transfer window closes I know?

I always expect, we should be a club going forward and never backwards!

Q: Right, lets lower the tone... which celebrity would you most like to bang and which (male I would think) celeb would you most like to thump!?!

Bang would be Emily Procter who plays Calleigh Duquesne on CSI Miami.
Thump would be Robbie Williams, Piers Morgan, Andy Murray!
