Vital Villa Summer Interview: Parkez17

Vital Villa Summer Interview: Parkez17

Parkez17 steps up for the Vital Villa members interviews.

Q: When did you become a Villa fan and why?

When my dad gave me a villa shirt, he then took me too a villa game against Sheffield Wednesday, which we won, from that day, I was a true claret and blue.

Q: The season just gone, good bad or ugly? What did you think of it?

Pretty good in my opinion, only thing that has really disappointed me is the home form, shocking at times, I wonder where we could of been with a better home form. League wins the highlight.

Q: Best and worst moment of last season?

Best - beating united at Old Trafford, amazing feeling. close second, the second leg of the carling cup semi-final against Blackburn, cracking game.
Worst - taking abuse from fellow blues fans when we were demolished at Chelsea!

Q: James Milner... is he off do you think? If so, what price (realistically) should Villa hold out for? If off to Man City, which - if any - of their players would you want in exchange?

Personally I think he will stay due to the fact randy came out and made a statement about it, he would just look like a pratt if he actually does go. I think figure randy never comes out and speaks.. might be just me. But saying that, every player has his price, and with at least 30million for MON to spend and maybe Ireland who i really rate, the deal might not be too bad if he really does have to go. Really happy Dunney came out and said about his limited chances at city if he were to go, couldn't agree more with him!

Q: What signings (type of player or specific name/s if you wish) would you like to see Villa buy this summer?

Well Ireland whether Milner goes or not, I think he's quality. Obviously a striker, preferably bent, or some foreign talent. Finally a winger, we need someone that can compete with young and downing for those wing roles, add some spark, otherwise all we have to bring on is Sidwell for downing! doesn't really work...

Q: Where do you stand on Martin O'Neill (I don't mean literally, that would be assault) ?

Always a big fan, can be frustrating at times, but ultimately I trust him.

Q: Your opinion of Randy and the board?

Could not be better. Randy pops up when you need him, other than that, he lets MON does his job, role model chairman in my opinion.

Q: Favourite current player and favourite all time player/s

Liked Ashley Young since he joined, not been consistent but on his day he can destroy any full-back. All time, got to be Ian Taylor, great midfielder, always admired him and a true Villa fan!

Q: Do you expect progress next season, difficult to answer before the transfer window closes I know?

Tough to call, I think it hangs on what happens in this window, but I feel we will be in and around the 4th place fight once again... Would love some more trips to wembley!

Q: Right, lets lower the tone... which celebrity would you most like to bang and which (male I would think) celeb would you most like to thump!?!

Bang - Pixie Lott on her day
Thump? - don't really class him as a celeb but Harry Redknapp, I just hate the bloke.
