Vital Villan Mid Season Interview: meyouldy

Vital Villan Mid Season Interview: meyouldy

Meyouldy, Vital Villa regular and famous Russian diver (not a lot of people know that) takes the Vital Villan mid-season interview inbetween accounts and a fag break!

1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?

I was born Claret and Blue. Dad, uncles, Granddads were all Villa fans and travelled home and away. I was quite a late developer to be honest, I was in a drama school on Saturdays until I was about 13 and didn’t actually attend games before this time except the odd midweek encounter with my Granddad.

2) What do you think of this season, do we have the chance to push on or will we slip up like last season?

To scared to comment to be honest, dreading March but still hopeful.

3) Best moment/s of this season so far?

Away trip to Everton, not a great game but I’d never been and rarely have done any away games so really enjoyed the whole experience. Carew popped his header in just as a couple of us were questioning his commitment which was irony at its worse.

{you failed to mention you were with me and what a pleasure and priviledge that must have been for you Meyouldy?}

4) Worst moment/moments of this season so far?

DaveM’s farts!!! Horrendous!

5) Do you expect any arrivals this January (bearing in mind MON has indicated not) and IF you could bring in a player or two, who (realistically) would you go for?

Don’t expect any and to be honest I couldn’t give you a realistic name as I’ve never heard of him yet! We need to find a gem, all those touted as being available I personally don’t feel would be good enough to push us any further than we already are.

6) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer? And do you think Villa will spend enough this summer to progress?

Same answer as above, hopefully MON will be at the World Cup, TV work or not, it will give him first hand access to the best the world has to offer, our finishing position will be a big factor. Sorry I really don’t think its how much you spend, it’s how wisely. Look at ribena at Man Citeh!!!! Or whatever his name is.

7) If we made the Carling Cup final, who would you most like to face Manchester United or Manchester City?

Man Utd. I’d be happier beating them as I don’t really see City as a bigger team than us and could take losing to Utd slightly better for the same reason.

8) What do you expect us to do/finish this season?

Premier League: 6th
FA Cup: Finalist
Carling Cup: Winners.

9) Your opinion on Martin O'Neill now he is mid way through his 4th season in charge?

Well on target of where and what I expected, must continue to show some improvement year on year though.

10) Your opinion on Randy Lerner and his board?

Still reserving judgment, would be easier to assess if he would speak!

11) Favorite current player?

Milner is moving into this spot, despite me feeling sorry for Routledge and preferring him to Milner before he signed. Sadly Ashley is letting himself down this year, the only way you could liken him to Ronaldo now, is that his diving has improved.

12) Favorite former player/s?

Sid Cowan’s. Not only for what he did on the pitch but what he has done since and the way he runs the Academy. As a person he is a gentleman and one of the few at Villa Park who isn’t up himself.

13) Right, lets lower the tone... which celebrity would you most like to bang and which (male I would think) celeb would you most like to thump!?! Bang?

The list is endless but if I have to name one it would be Louise Nurdin before she married Jamie, which gives you the answer to the following part of the question. He is an annoying tw*t.

With thanks to meyouldy
