claretandbluearmy takes the mid-season interview for us:

1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?

My dad took me to see them when I was about 6, I remember the big A V floodlights and thought they were amazing. (we should bring them back!)

2) What do you think of this season, do we have the chance to push on or will we slip up like last season?

I think the prem has rabbits and tortoises, we are tortoises who are getting to where we want to be at a steady pace, we are stronger than last year so I don't think we'll slip up again.

3) Best moment/s of this season so far?

Beating Scumchester United on their turf.

4) Worst moment/moments of this season so far?

The Wigan Game!! (or maybe Liverpoo at home)

5) Do you expect any arrivals this January (bearing in mind MON has indicated not) and IF you could bring in a player or two, who (realistically) would you go for?

I do expect a striker anyone can see that is were we are short, but I would rather not buy if its not real quality. It should've been D.Bent.

6) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer? And do you think Villa will spend enough this summer to progress?

I think we will spend Mr Lerner has never held back finances and he has a manager that is careful with money, so he will make funds available. Maybe Darren Bent and Joe Cole.

7) If we made the Carling Cup final, who would you most like to face Manchester United or Manchester City?

Probably United as they look far from the united of old plus Citeh will probably be on a zillion pounds per player to win!!

8) What do you expect us to do/finish this season?

Premier League: 5th
FA Cup: semi
Carling Cup: winners

9) Your opinion on Martin O'Neill now he is mid way through his 4th season in charge?

I think he is the best thing to happen to Villa, and he and Mr Lerner have given Villa a solid foundation, I do think we will win things under MON, my only criticism is I wish he would go that little bit extra, bring in the big name that will take us the extra step.

10) Your opinion on Randy Lerner and his board?

He is Faultless, supplied funds, stability, structure, he has planned for the future of the stadium, he stays in the background, tickets prices are still one of the cheapest in the prem, I think he is the best chairman in the league.

11) Favourite current player?

Luke Young

12) Favourite former player/s?

Ooh Aah Paul McGrath (just read his autobiography its a great read), Gary Shaw and Paul Merson.

13) Right, lets lower the tone... which celebrity would you most like to bang and which (male I would think) celeb would you most like to thump!?!
