Should Players Be Sent Out On Loan?
Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested by deano.avfc, 'should we let players go out on loan for a month (missing just the Fulham game)?

The majority, with 37% said we should let players go out on loan BUT not to Brum! Another 32% said yes - it is valuable first team experience.

That left 22% saying no, they are better off training with team mates and 9% saying no, they might get injured.

Our latest poll, suggested by agentprovocateur asks who are Villa's all time cult heroes? Andy Gray, Peter Withe, Dennis Mortimer, Alan McInally, Sid Cowans or Brian Little

A cult hero is generally someone not particualrly brilliant but who give more than he could and would die for the club, in which case it should be Ian Taylor. If it is going on quality and skill on the pitch then where the hell is everybodys favourite - The Lord McGrath? This poll stinks, but for the record I've gone for Sid because he has single handedly changed the history of the club over 30 years.

Dennis Mortimer for me, not only did he lead on the pitch but I also think anyone who got banned from Villa Park by the previous management did something right.

think we are doing it so up to 11 options can be added to a poll. Only a bit of fun though, all are welcome to suggest polls so we can always do a few more and then have a 'final' that said I might get a life instead LOL

Morty. Great captain, superb footballer. Cult hero absolutely. One goal forever comes to mind. His superb run and finish from the half-way line against Liverpool in our Championship winning season. We won the game 2-0, and that was the game I think we all genuinely started to believe that yes, we could finish the season as champions.
