1 - How long have you been a Villa fan and how did you first get the Claret & Blue faith?

I have been a fan for just a shade over 2 years now. A favorite sportswriter of mine wrote an article (www.sports.espn.go.com > Click Here) saying he was going to randomly pick a Premier League team to be a fan of. It sounded like a good plan to me so I did. Why did I pick Aston Villa? No reason really; I liked the name and loved the team colors. (I know of no professional or college team that wears claret and blue in the US. It`s a shame; it looks nice!)

2 - What was your first game?

Since I live in the US, I have never been to a live Villa game. I religiously followed Villa for over a year and a half before I even got to see them play a game on tv. As luck would have it, it was a pretty good game. I found a buddy who got the Fox Soccer channel and had him tape the game. It was last year`s boxing day game vs Chelsea.

3 - What is your most memorable moment as a Villa fan?

Logging on to the Internet last year and finding out we beat Blackburn 4-0. It doesn`t sound like much, but it was great telling the only other Villa fan I know about the game after he said he expected a 1-0 loss and 2 of our starters to be injured. Actually, its quite amazing that I actually know someone in town who is from Birmingham…and a life-long Villa fan. (Note: I live in a town in Oklahoma with a population of ~20,000.)

4 - And the worst moment?

Logging on to the Internet to learn that Carson had conceded an injury time goal to Arsenal that cost us 2 points and started a precipitous drop in Villa performance.

5 - Who are your favourite current Villa players?

6 - Which former player/s are your ultimate heroes?

I`ve only heard stories…

b>7 - Which player do you think was the worst to ever put on the team colours?

No comment.

8 - What is the best goal you have seen Villa score and which is your favourite game?

Barry`s penalty vs Chelsea last year. Cool as ice. I`m still shocked we were given a penalty vs Chelsea that late in the game. I though Abramovich owned the refs?!?

9 - Best away ground visited?

That would be the home of my friend with Fox Soccer channel.

10 - Who would you like to see Villa sign this summer?

right winger who scares defenders as much as Ashley Young does.

11 - What are your predictions for us this season in the:

) League
7th

b>b) Europe I have no idea.

b>c) Carling Cup Early exit. I don't think it matters as much to most managers, including MON

b>d) FA Cup Quarterfinal loss to one of the Big 4.

12 - What is your opinion of Martin O'Neill?

ood manager. The kinda guy that I would want to play for. He may not be a high-roller in the transfer market, but he does seem to work hard at it.

13 - What is your opinion of Randy Lerner and the new board?

I don`t really care as long as he can sign checks.

14 - Where do you sit at Villa and are you a season ticket holder?

On the couch.

15 - And finally if you could invite 4 people connected to Villa, living or dead, to a dinner party, who would they be? And you can add one bit of top totty as well to make the party go with a 'bang' ;o)

Milner, Joe Cole, Podolski, Huntelaar…We`re going to have a little heart to heart on why joining Villa is in their best interests.

great answer to the last question. villa are slowly taking over the world, im a lifelong villa fan who moved to philadelphia so i feel you pain of not being able to go to villa park anymore.

Intresting read Attila11101 and i'm gald you chose the right team to support unlike that T.W.A.T of a reporter you read. Quote Bill Simmons "Aston Villa -- By all accounts, they have the most miserable, self-loathing fan base in the EPL. That's what happens when you support a team that sounds like a Cadillac model." Loved your comment about Abramovich owning the refs. A Sooner eh? Lovely part of the world Oklahoma, been into the state quite a few times now on our travels over there. Keep that claret and blue flag flying proudly.
