Vital Villa Interviews: villaman187
It is villaman187's turn on the Vital Villan Interviews..

1 - How long have you been a Villa fan and how did you first get the Claret & Blue faith?

I have been a villa fan for 6 years now and in all that time have been a season ticket holder and go to pretty much every game, my dad and my brother went to villa games before me when I didn't have the slightest interest in football and they decided to take me to my first game and I really really enjoyed it and I kept going and that's how I became a villa fan.

2 - What was your first game?

My first game was against Chelsea away, unfortunately we lost 1-0 to a jimmy floyd hasselbank goal but my first game at villa park was a lot better when we beat wolves in a local derby 3-2

3 - What is your most memorable moment as a Villa fan?

beating Leicester 3-2 in the last second was incredible, I've never celebrated so much in my life that was a night to remember, can't beat the carling cup midweek matches in my opinion.

4 - And the worst moment?

either losing to Bolton in the carling cup semi final or all them times we lost to blues was devastating

5 - Who are your favourite current Villa players?

young, gabby, laursen, carew

6 - Which former player/s are your ultimate heroes?

when I first supported I was juan pablo angel's biggest fan and he was my hero and I've got to stick with him even though he went right down hill in the last few seasons at the club

7 - Which player do you think was the worst to ever put on the team colours?

in my time I think it is probably erik bakke or djemba djemba

8 - What is the best goal you have seen Villa score and which is your favourite game?

the best goal I have ever seen villa score has got to be against derby, petrov from the half way line!! and my favourite match was probably us against Chelsea, full of goals and barry scoring a pen in the last sec was brilliant.

9 - Best away ground visited?

The Emirates or Old Trafford

10 - Who would you like to see Villa sign this summer?
I'd love us to sign david bentley, I think he would be a great acquisition to the team and a decent striker that can get at least 20 goals a season someone like keane would be a great signing

11 - What are your predictions for us this season in the:
a) League
7th

b) Europe quarter finals (get knocked out by Milan)
c) Carling Cup winners
d) Fa Cup quarter finals

12 - What is your opinion of Martin O'Neill?

MON is god

13 - What is your opinion of Randy Lerner and the new board?

randy lerner is doing a good job he is giving us the money and running the club well mind you it would be better if he could come to England more rather than live in America all the time and take full control of the nfl team he owns

14 - Where do you sit at Villa and are you a season ticket holder?

yep I have been a season ticket holder for 6 years and I sit in the lower part of the trinity road stand now but it used to be the middle but we got moved because of the corporate thing that is going on there

15 - And finally if you could invite 4 people connected to Villa, living or dead, to a dinner party, who would they be? And you can add one bit of top totty as well to make the party go with a 'bang' ;o)

hmm good question the 4 people would probably be martin O'Neill id love to meet him, id like to meet fellow villa fan tom hanks, ashley young because he is my favourite villa player at the min and juan pablo angel because he was my childhood hero for the villa

With thanks to villaman187
