Vital Villan Interviews: Meakers

Vital Villan Interviews: Meakers
Meakers

1 - How long have you been a Villa fan and how did you first get the Claret & Blue faith?

Well I been a fan for a while (13 yrs) but due to having boring parents I never had the chance to go when I was younger , I became a villa fan due to my friends, we were always playing football at school or in the street, at times we used bottle tops at school , And my friends had villa kits as a pe kit and i just tagged along, Bugging my parents saying I want a villa top.

2 - What was your first game?

Due to not going when I was younger my first game would be when Peter Crouch made his home debut against newcastle in which he scored

3 - What is your most memorable moment as a Villa fan?

Garry Cahill V blues or Dublins headbutt against blues , or when Hitz scored against albion (meant a lot to me as I grown up around a big baggies area.

4 - And the worst moment?

I think when Stern John? scored in the final kick off the game to equalise or when ever blues won us

5 - Who are your favourite current Villa players?

Gareth Barry and Ashley Young

6 - Which former player/s are your ultimate heroes?

Ian Taylor , Gareth Southgate and Dion Dublin

7 - Which player do you think was the worst to ever put on the team colours?

Kinsella, enkleman and balaban

8 - What is the best goal you have seen Villa score and which is your favourite game?

Cahill v Blues or Hitz V blues (in front of the holte?)

9 - Best away ground visited?

Stamford Bridge or Leicesters new one isnt too shabby

10 - Who would you like to see Villa sign this summer?

Bentley , Van der Vaart , Samba from Blackburn and Henry

11 - What are your predictions for us this season in the:
a) League
with who spurs have signed I will say 7th
b) Europe Europe - knockouts stages
c) Carling Cup win

d) Fa Cup Fa Cup - 6th round

12 - What is your opinion of Martin O'Neill?

Great manager but I question his old style in the transfer market.

13 - What is your opinion of Randy Lerner and the new board?

So far out of ten i would give them a 7/10 , you can do some fancy work on stadium on training pitch or on a pub for the fans but equally the fans want a quality team on th efield which takes some dolla (no pun intended) , either there not givin mon enough cash or he dont know how to spend it. Either way no good for what I want

14 - Where do you sit at Villa and are you a season ticket holder?

Yes i am a season ticket holder, finally broken the shackles form my family and been a season ticket holderthis season coming my 6th season, Trinity middle B5 , Row 18 , seat 223

15 - And finally (stolen without shame from Vital Arsenal!) if you could invite 4 people connected to Villa, living or dead, to a dinner party, who would they be? And you can add one bit of top totty as well to make the party go with a 'bang' ;o)

Martin O'Neil , Dion Dublin , Gareth Barry and for the after dinner party Lee Hendrie and the top totty would be Megan Fox

Yes, that Stern John memory will never fade will it? Again, an interesting read. Good to know what fellow Vital Villans think. Good responses Meakers.
