Admittedly it isn't Altrincham (ha ha) but I never thought I would be smarting as much as when we lost to similar placed Oldham in the League cup 3-0 when - if memory serves me right - we were top of the league as well!!

DOL has been a pathetic joke for the best part of 18 months now and it simply has to change or make no mistake we are staring into the abyss.

The only reason he has a job is because of the uncertainty of the takeover and it makes no financial sense to pay one guy off and employ another only for the new guy to have his own ideas and we go through it all again. THE SOLUTION? Sid as caretaker because he has the respect of some of the players having nurtured them for all their career. Then the new regime can chose from there, because if there is to be a takeover it WILL be to coincide with the January transfer window.

Pre beating Blose we had taken 34 points over the equivalent of a season (I could stand corrected however). No-one has ever stayed up with that amount and then we beat Blose and Sunderland who are below us and scraped a victory at home to an out of sorts and weakened Charlton. That to me is no stay of execution.

LIVE UP TO YOUR REPUTATION HERB AND GET SHOT OF THE GUY BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE - AND BELIEVE ME TIME WILL COME WHEN IT IS TOO LATE. OR IF YOU HAVE ANY SPINE AT ALL YOU WILL DO THE HONOURABLE THING YOURSELF DAVID AND LEAVE US ALONE. BUT THEN THAT WOULD COST YOU TOO MUCH MONEY WOULDN'T IT?
