I read somewhere that Pochitinio doesn't believe in loaning out young players. He thinks they can do a better job coaching them up at Spurs.

When Onomah joined it was the first I'd heard of him and was a little disappointed we were taking a loan player when we have our own youth players.

So far, he's looked good in patches but despite the hype, he's not the best player on the pitch. If you are playing in the hole, you should be running the game.

He's highly rated by spurs but apparently Pochettino thinks his best position is as a box to box player whereas the lad himself thinks it's playing off the striker where we're playing him. Personally I'd agree with Pochettino from what I've seen. I think he's a good player and if he keeps his head screwed on right he could be a very good player.

I think he's finding the adjustment to the Championship a bit tougher than he/we thought. It's ok playing in the Spuds, U23s and England U21s, but playing in the Championship is a step up. Decent run of games behind him and he'll be ok I feel as he's not had a decent run in the team really.

I think Poch might be right. For me, if you are playing the cheating position, you have to be able to unlock defences with one touch and score double digits and I don't see Josh doing that.

Agree with BB. Good in patches. Which i guess for a young, developing player only used to reserve football (regularly) before, that is to be expected.
