Open the top of the trinity first . My plan was £299 adult season ticket £99 under 18 and under 8s free , sell 35000 2500 away section 5000 floating tickets. Just think this battery shit crazy plan would lose how much in overall ticket revenue

The crowds will show up to clubs that are regularly successful. We used to draw bigger crowds than Chelsea.

Nobody wants to watch turgid, losing football.

If we started storming the Championship, we'd fill VP.

It's called elasticity of demand

Halve the price and double the crowd, same revenue [okay stewarding costs go up a bit] and a much better atmosphere with a full ground.

In particular let kids and families in cheaply; they are the future fans.
When I was young [the sixties] my local club had 'the Bob Bank' for kids; there were trains direct to the ground's own station and all the local kids went - result a great atmosphere and a lifetime love of football.

Huddersfield doubled there season ticket allocation last year , price drove it.
We close part of the ground and I still know more villa fans who dont go regular than do. You have to get people to commit early in big numbers , we could easily sell 35000 season tickets at the right price to drag people in .

Whether you think its great or a load of bull, the biggest criticism of Lerner was the alienation of fans.

Between Tone and Keith we have never been told so much

Excellent communication and greatly appreciated

Agreed holtelower.

We should all applaud the vision. I for one believe we are finally heading in the right direction. Promotion of course is the first and main step.

We were given the same vision, unfair to say otherwise, they did a lot in the early days to include fans, it went sour.

People are forgetting the great start because of the woeful ending.

I've heard it all from Doug... I've heard it all from Randy... I've now heard it from these guys, who I like and am more than happy to reserve judgement on, only time will tell what they can achieve and I'm quite sure they will do their damnedest to do what they want.

But lets get the tickets right, lets correct the shite season ticket package offered and the inability to deliver, lets get the rewards system that works, and lets get some wins on the pitch before we talk too much, in too much length, about the future.

It was exciting once

Bright Future - Proud History

It became a rod for their back and a source of disconnect with the fans in the end though.

Under promise, over deliver.

I agree JF , many people talk a good job, some talk total bollocks . Of course I'm hoping we'll be bigger than Barca in my lifetime but if I was a gambling man I wouldn't even risk a quid on it .
Dr Twitter needs to tone it down , or he's setting himself up for a bigger fall than randy ever had

Proof of Dr X intentions and worth as an owner will come if we are still stuck in the championship in a couple of years.

The people in charge are forward thinking and progressive in a lot of ways but to have a part of the stadium Shut is a joke . You market your season tickets and sell 70% of the ground , that early committed. It's not difficult.

Don't forget the merchandising and catering uplift as well. Human nature is a funny thing. Pay £25 quid to get in, people struggling will watch the additional ££'s. Pay only £15 to get in, people feel they are already quid's in so are less concerned spending the extra £15+ - especially when it comes to the kids.

In overall terms revenue would possibly go up because lower price tickets would attract those unable to pay current prices, whilst those able to pay will remain where they are for the most part, happy with their seat/view and the group around them.

The biggest and best development would be getting rid of Bruce.

Maybe Xia should focus on this football club before he starts buying up a network of them and spreading his resources. I also find it quite bizarre to be talking about increasing capacity when we have to shut off half of our biggest stand because we can't fill the stadium. Be careful Tony. Let's get back into the Premier league first ffs.
