In Sherwood's first match when he was up in the stands, in the cup against Leicester, after Sherwood gave a team talk at half, it was Bacuna who looked up, hesitated, then thought "I can", and instead of passing sideways or backwards hit a cracker into the far right corner of the net.

He had his moments. Maybe he can get his mojo back somewhere else. He's been here too long amongst too many failures. Wish him well.

I'm completely indifferent to Bacuna as a player and to his moving on. And it shouldn't be that way. I just see him as a player to stick in any position when there's no one else.

I think he was one of the best crossers of the ball at the club and he managed to get the most assists out of any Right Back in the league back when Sherwood was in his first season. playing out wide was definitely where he was most affective for us imo.

BUT he just wasn't delivering the goods enough, hence why I'm not bothered to see him go. He started off well under Lambert, he banged in a couple of lovely free kicks but over time he just became a utility man who probably lost a lot of confidence too. Like others have said he's just a nothing player really.

Good luck to him. Used to rate him when he first arrived, and the he went awol (along with everyone else) in the relegation season. The Champions League nonsense didn't help, although he might have been taken out of context. Anyway, he wasn't the player he'd hoped, and hopefully for him he get his career back on the rails.

At 25 years old I'd expect him to be able to keep up with the pace of game, I don't know what it is about him, he'll have bursts of energy but for me isn't close enough to his player nor is he bursting forward all the regularly.

No loss, glad he's gone and I'd like to see all the others from the class of 2015/16 gone with him

Yep, not really bothered.

But to be fair he was always one of the midfielders that didn't take the easy option and just pass it sideways. Looked to actually run with the ball and progress it forward. It rarely produced anything but you know what I mean.
