i know this is too late for now, but for the next one.

following on from my 'make it more than 90 mins' theme.

Why not play U23 games before out home games, kick off, say, 1230 , means if you wanted to, you could get there early, watch the first game, have a 45 min break and then watch the main game. during it, they would sell drinks, food, and the U23s would get more exposure. during the U23 game, if ex players were on the concourse to have photo's with, and at half time, they had competitions, it would make it more of a day out.

They served me cheese.

TWICE.

Despite doing a dietary advisory sheet re my allergy (and it's not a 'trendy' new 'look at me I'm intolerant' to x y z one!)

Mate got made to stand outside in the cold (in a nice suit) until I turned up with the tickets (before outsourcing, the red coats would greet and you'd be shown into the reception)

But other bits were, then again it was the McGregor not the 82 so you pay for a more premium one.

It's no surprise that the long standing staff (many outsourced now sadly for them) are the ones who really knew what they were doing!

So mixed but I'm continuing with the feedback in a positive way to try to help. Was disappointing to have to make a 'fuss' to get the cheese away from me!

You are right sir, cheese is not good sir.

Cheese is the devils food.

Spoke volumes to me it was the old established staff who shone through. Hopefully they are kept.

Could you raise the issue of the changes they made to the concourse on the Witton lane side of the Lower Holte please? The removal of a shelf to be replaced with wheelie bins is unacceptable. They would not expect people to have to eat and drink off wheelie bins in the corporate areas so why do they think it is acceptable for the Holte End. We have complained and been promised that they will move some of the bins and partially restore the shelf. But are still waiting the club has found the resources to create a new larger kiosk though. Typical they want our money but don't treat us with respect. They should move all the bins back into the Holte Carpark where they used to be or failing that put them in the space by the entrance to the Holte Suite where no fans stand not in the main refreshment area. Also why do they keep selling out of steak pies before kick off. in 45 years of going to the Villa there have been occasions when the queue was impossible to get a pie but never before have we been selling out. not good enough! Thanks
Carl Taylor

Think this is because of the pitch, been brought up a few times over the years.

Yank and JF: Dr X spoke at the beginning of his tenure, of wanting to bring in virtual season tickets for those who live too far away to attend regularly or at all. Is there any news on this please? If it is still being looked at and if so have we any timelines on when this will happen that fans can watch virtually?

you meaning live matches broadcast and you pay a season ticket for that?

That's not within their remit until times change broadcast contract wise.

I agree, I'd pay for all away games I'm not attending but this isn't a club decision.

Or have I misunderstood?

Catering:

why are all the catering staff so flipping surly and almost unpleasant? Ok, they're probably minimum wage but I'd guess McDonald's staff are as well and they keep the pretence up 40 hours a week, not four.

Still on the catering - we're a captive audience when in the ground, with enough goodwill for the club to accept we'll be paying a little bit over the odds for our balti pie and beer. Must be a way to make either the infrastructure and/or staffing more efficient, so that in those pre-game and half time pinch points, people aren't put off trying to buy anything.

Some people can't be bothered to queue at all, others who do (me!) would gladly go back and get another beer, but it's impossible unless you accept you'll miss some of the game.

Why's it so hard to get a drink or something at half time?! Again at Dortmund, with substantionally more people, I could get a beer absolutely no problem at half time. On the subject of beer, be nice if we could actually get a decent beer in, drop whoever it is we sell at the moment and get a contact with a local brewery, for example, Purity from Studley.

Tickets:

Can you ask them why when I print my own tickets do I get charged an "admin" fee please? Considering I'm using my own printer and ink it's a bit of a piss take

Wi-fi:

Free wifi at Dortmund the wifi is on pre game, half time and after the game and works very well.

Support:

The AVFC support page on twitter seems good, they respond to queries and provide updates on tickets. But, I don't have twitter and neither do I want to set one up so is there any chance they could do something similar either via the official site (Live chat?), Facebook or email?

Transport:

One for the future but in Germany your match ticket gets you free local travel to the match, would help encourage people to come and also to ditch their car. No one checks tickets at Aston station nor on the train anyway so just make it free within a certain radius or region.

Need the U23s on AVTV as well as Facebook.

Definitely need to change entrance music and again agree that Sabbath would be the logical choice

Lack of half time entertainment, maybe re-introduce fan competitions.

Bham Airport. Virtually all airports i have been to have displays of local sports merchandise. Bham Airport has a JJB selling Man Utd. We should have a store, or at least a display

Don’t get why football clubs want fans in at 2.56 and gone by 4.55. Why not put incentives for fans to get there early, and thus spend money. Maybe local bands playing at 2.00, ex players on concourses for photos , give aways from sponsors etc...

Old style sports forums - where have they gone ?

Badge , get rid quick. Symbolises failure. Either 57 or Round badge back with simple star above it

Any likelihood the Lions Club in the Doug Ellis will be reopened?

I know it's probably not possible nor controlled by the club, but with it looking like we will be spending at least another season in the Championship can they do anything to allow us overseas fans to watch the club more.

J can you ask why the kids pre match activities in the Gordon Cowans suite have been cut right down to just x number of games a season . My Granddaughter no longer wants to go to games , now they have cut down the number of games they cover .
Loads of disappointed kids over the last few games , although they did do it against Sheffield Wed.

Aren't we supposed to be attracting future fans not driving them away to save pennies ?

We, meaning the club, could learn a lot from our cousins across the pond, with regards to being in the service industry because that is what 50% of the club is in, with the other 50% being in the entertainment industry.
Mind you I find that probably 90% of service industry outlets nowadays are staffed by the most miserable looking, surliest of characters. Which, unsurprisingly, make customers think twice about making a return visit.
This is one area that doesn't actually cost anything to improve. Serve customers efficiently, speak politely to customers and smile. Make someone feel wanted and welcome and they will return and spend. Not exactly rocket science is it?

Ticket plan and pricing is all over the place ,
Match day experience is none existant ,
Website is useless when trying to purchase tickets,
Staff behind the ciunter swearing at each other,
Club shop great if you just want a training top.
For me villapark is in the wrong place, its out if the way . Major regeneration would be required to bring life to the area.
£299 , £349 and £399 adult pricing lower tiers 2nd tiers then £399 for the upper trinty , under 8 £49 under 18s £99 anywhrere .

Where else would you like it to be?
