Onward and upward (if somewhat breathlessly).
We seem to be gaining the knack of somehow winning games even when playing poorly.
I'd much rather we were doing it with champagne football but three points is of great comfort after a mediocre display.
So, on that basis -
Indubitably a victory!

Our first real test at home under Bruce (Won't count wolves as he'd been in the job 2 days max.). If we produce the laboured displays of late then we're really gonna struggle, looked hard work today but got there in the end. Should be a good atmosphere with their lot.

It would be a huge win if we do.

Honestly dont know.

One half of me says we need to win this, we have the players to win this, and we will win this.

The other side of me thinks if we play like we have the last few games, the score would be more suited to Headingly.

I will sit on the fence and say 1 1 draw, but really think 3 points is a must

If we play like we did today, Leeds will win at a canter. If we play like we did against Brighton, who knows?

Despite winning the last 6 home games (how the fcuk did that happen??) I can't see us turning over a Leeds in superb form.

1-1 at best. 1-2 more likely for me.

I have a feeling that this game will bring us back down to earth with a bump.

0-3

If we play like we did today Leeds will murder us, it won't be pretty. Pissing about launching long balls to Kodjia and hoping someone will beat 3 men and either score or stick a cross on someone's boot won't work against a proper team. At the moment i can see nothing but defeat here.

1-0 home win. The players will raise their games for this one . It won't be pretty but that's ok at the moment .

Yes massive test this, without doubt we will need to have a Brighton ' standard ' performance.

Bruce needs to get that starting line up right, we won't get away with starting sluggish as we have been.

I'd love to see Bruce give Tshibola his chance. I can't see our piss poor midfield coping. The sooner I don't see Hutton, Westwood, Gardner and Agbonlahor in or around the first team the better. Roll on the transfer window.

-------------------Bunn--------------------

Bacuna----Chester----Baker----Amavi

--------------Tsibola---Jedinak------------

Adomah--------Grealish-----------Ayew

----------------------Kodja--------------------------

Would be my preferred line up. With McCormack scoring against Burton maybe it's harsh to drop him but against Leeds we can't afford to shoehorn players into the team who don't fit. I'd drop Hutton who positionally was awful again against Burton, Tshibola in for Gardner who was anonymous yet again and will give us extra energy in midfield. Ayew and Adomah to bomb forward and provide the support for Kodja when we are on the attack.

This game ironically may suit us better as I can't see Leeds sitting back and playing for a draw. We can sit back and hit them on the counter. Just need to keep them out and wait for that chance .

Would want Bacuna in there somewhere. He's improving match by match. That was a committed display yesterday, and the link up with Adomah for his goal was superb.

We can win this. Monk has Leeds playing well, but still don't reckon they're the greatest. It was a very close game at their place, could have gone either way.

Agreed. I'd have him ahead of Grealish or Ayew. Both of whom seem better coming off the bench.

Bacuna is better in midfield I think. His energy, strength and speed give us something we simply don't have in that area. He certainly warrants a place right now though.
