Gabby playing like yesterday does cause problems with his pace. Alongside Hogan it could create more space for Hogan. But when Kodjia's fit I'd play Kodjia and Hogan. Think we needs two strikers up front.

Whatever, I don't see a place for McCormack. He may have done OK for Fulham, but I doubt he'll get back to that and it's a waste of time and money to try.

Don't care who or where he goes.

As long as he isn't anywhere near Bodymoor Heath or Villa Park come Sept 1st - I couldn't care less.

And that goes for about 10-15 others as well. If Amavi and the likes can get moves to Champions League clubs, I won't be thinking "they must be good if they cango to x/y/z" - all I will think is "good riddance, more fool the club who buys them"

C'mon fat boy. Hop those gates at Bodymoor Heath and don't turn back.

It will be a great move by Bruce if we can get this waster out of the club and get any money for him that's for sure.
Never really saw him before we signed him thought he'd be good at 12m but he's a slow moaning lazy waste of fresh air get the disruptive lump out of VP along with the other par of wasters

Seems like we're asking £8m. If true, too much. £6m would be outstanding. Paid £12m for a 30-year old on a 4 year deal; even if he was successful you'd expect to write that off over that period, so £3m a year. But he's not successful. Take £6m or even less.

£6m-8m would be good business. I didn't realisehe was on a 4 year contract until last week. It's pretty poor planning to offer a 30 year old a deal that long and for such a high wages to be honest - even selling him for half what we got him for would benefit the club millions of pounds over the longer term... unless of course he can turn his villa career around

Perfectly sensible post david.
Of course there is that last half sentence to consider. Now all things being equal, I'd say, he has between no and a gnats chance of turning his Villa career around but, the injury to Grealish could unlock, if not open, the door for him to have a chance.
At his best there is no doubt that McCormack could be the creative spark we need but, then you have to consider his disruptive attitude in the dressing room and on the training pitch and consider if what he can give you on the field of play is worth the hassle.

I will never ever be a fan after the gates fiasco.

Personally I would settle for what ever Sunderland would offer, the way things are at Sunderland he should fit in just sweet.

Lets be honest, even in this new world of crazy transfer fee's nobody is going to pay £8 million for a fat pie eating mother hubbard who literally can't find the way out of his own house.

Just let him rot or loan him out to weaken one of our rivals.

Unless Bruce or Terry have seen something in training that suggests he wants to be a footballer again or there is serious interest from other clubs at £3-4m I'd give him a free transfer just to get him off the payroll

We shelled out on him and took the hit thinking he would blast us back to the Premier League - and if he'd done that then his four year deal would have been pence.

He did make some terrific runs at times but like every attacking player before him, he had no service - and then his control went and he got down about his face and before the wee fella knew it he was too fat to get over the gate.

I think he'd be excellent for Sunderland. he probably would as well, as if we were the enemy and the reason for his failing body and shit form.

Having reportedly told Sunderland that a loan deal for Ross McCormack was not on the table, yesterday it was reported that we were now close to a loan agreement with them.

If we loan McCormack to Sunderland and he does well, his price could rise above what anyone is prepared to pay for him at present.

Yeah, pay up is what I say too. The only saving grace I suppose if he is loaned out is, at least he won't be able to play against us.

Sorry must be sold why the hell should we help sunderland out and pay some of his wages. What do we get out of it a 32 year old striker back next season if the they really want him they will cough up the cash.

Hope it happens . The madhouse up there seems perfect for McCormack.

I bet he fancies a few nights out with Darron Gibson.
