The reality is that we have swapped Randy for another absent chairman/owner, and I can't see him spending much time over here.

Well maybe not so absent, according to this interview...

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/may/19/tony-xia-revamp-ast...

Let's hope he learns from Randy's mistakes....

From the moment we heard the name Keith Wyness, any report referencing him and anybody who spoke about him used words like shrewd, no nonsense...

That's all we can do J but everything that's being done does have a more professional feel about it personally I never got the Mervyn King appointment the only good thing for me he had Villa in his heart but so have I but I would probably be a crap chairman or board member. The board now has a more football feel to it which we have lacked ever since Randy took over.

What's impressed me is the amount of clear thinking which has gone on the footballing side, from appointing Di Matteo as manager through to Wyness, who's been here before, as Chairman. Full marks to Xia; he knew what he wanted and he's got it, whether it's from him alone or with advice from others doesn't really matter.

Andrew Obolensky, as far as I can find out, is still registered as a director of Reading FC according to Companies House.
Doesn't being a director of two football clubs contravene Football League rules, at the very least it sets up a conflict of interest scenario.

So far so good , but we have been here before hsvent we? We are still suffering on the pitch and that is the only thing that really matters.

I'll reserve judgement until we have achieved something on the pitch . 1 win in 5 so far and we also have a team of championship players I hope the strategy works . Time will tell

Anyone sensible will reserve judgment for sure and hope I think.

I did like how he said at the SCG (minutes out at 6pm tonight) though that action speaks louder than words.

He seems to know his stuff, lets hope he can build strong foundations.
