A Wise Man (once sat next to him)

we aren't in the top level, McCormacks goalscoring record was good until he came here

2008–2010 Cardiff City 74 (25)
2010–2014 Leeds United 144 (53)
2014–2016 Fulham 89 (38)

We buy them , don't supply and it all goes wrong. Not just Ross either.

But he's out of shape, unfit, lazy, missed training several times with poor excuses and has a bad attitude.

Yes I know that could have been labelled at Gabby for a 3 month period 2 years ago as well, but at least he's knuckled down to try and do something about making amends.

Ross is just a twat.

Neither of them are ultimately good enough but Gabby deserves a chance more than Ross in my opinion. Pukka pie eating, tenants super drinking fat mother fecker.

Why are you just so wrong all the time?!

He has turned up fit, he'd have got fitter. Not saying what he did last season was acceptable, it wasn't, but he was bought for a fortune and I'd have thought Bruce would have moved heaven and earth to get him fit and firing even if only for a sell on value.

Gabby doesn't deserve a chance more than anyone. Equally maybe.... although I won't get over (and I probably need to grow up apparently! lol) the way he's been a leach at this club for so long.

Great, new contract needed so he's woken up. Round of applause.

Maybe if he sticks at all this I'll start to believe btw. So many false dawns, so many times I've argued his case on here over the years and then after being a sulky twat after scoring v Norwich I just thought nope, I'm done.

Super intelligent human

McCormack is a waste of time for me, we have two proven goalscorers in Codger and Hogan - we don't need big fat Ross. Build a team around Codger & Hogan scoring goals, not Ross.

We may not be able to shift RMc, so we may have to reintegrate him. Don't get the forgiveness for Gabby from some, let's just all be honest and agree he is just not good enough regardless of how hard he tries, his first touch is appalling, his goal scoring record is sub standard (being kind) and his attitude has been brought into question by more than one manager.

IMO he is ok as a squad player if we want someone to come on up front and ruffle a few feathers and maybe bundle in a goal once in a while.

I don't hate the guy, don't like the guy and quite frankly don't know the guy. What I am interested in is the success of AVFC moving forward. For me Gabby isn't in those plans but we are stuck with him for this season. As for RMc, I don't see how he can fit into this team, so if we can offload him I am not going to get all mushy. He's 30, slowing down and we have better prospects coming through the ranks.
