| Good idea.
If we could sneak an extra player on the pitch, without anyone noticing, we might scramble the odd draw here or there.
Worth a try! |

There are two arguments for this comment;
On one side of the coin you could say; What dosnt kill you, makes you stronger. These kids will come out the other end and it will make them better players. I seen David Beckham become no'1 public enemy in the "whole" country thus when he was only young..Yet he came out the other side a more complete player.
On the other side of the coin you could say; All these defeats are demoralising for these players. Its sucking their confidence and destroying any ability that they may have. They may be destroyed for life.
Sometimes the best way to learn is by making mistakes and experiencing the pain that goes with it. I think if we can get through this season, remove the crap off the books, invest in a few more decent young players we will be a far, far better team next season. Edited by Green Tea 28/1/2013 18:39

David Beckham had talent! he was already an international player in an experienced man utd side.
You seem to think that if the player is young and you play them they will just turn into top players. It's about talent, westwood yes,maybe, he has something. The others no, they are Liam ridgewells at best.
Look i hope to god you are right mate, i hope we survive and at the least this lot can be a mid-table team. But is that worth waiting 3 years and possible getting relegated for?
As i say i really hope you are right and we will be fine. Edited by Bikini Inspector 28/1/2013 19:33

| Love the positivity from green tea, especially as I have lost mine.
But Strachen, Laursen, Yorke, Merson, ROTC have all played at the top level, so I have to take their opinions and experience over and above Mr Tea's.
Especially as their opinions match my argument |

| We've played 30 games ? Aren't the problems all too evident ?
Dear me I am worried about the mentality ! Not to mention the lack of coaching ! |

20 points over 23 league games equates to 33pts for the season or to put it another way: Relegation.
