P.Avfc i agree it would be difficult to get Zaha but remember Moses whilst the same at Crystal Palace also like Zaha he left for Wigan as he wanted 1st team football guarenteed to progress before going to a top 4 club he said at the time, i just wonder if that may be our advantage at this moment in time, not the wages not the ambitions of winning the league etc but actually gaining premier league experiance rather than bench warming just like Sinclair at Citeh is now moaning about''

So Zaha is rushed into the England team for a friendly so that he is registered for us rather than Ivory Coast and now he is going to sign for Villa to get permanent 1st 11 football and we bench Benteke, Wiemann or Gabby - dont think so.
Cant see us buy ing a striker unless Bent is sold
We will defo sign a CB
cant see us signing a midfielder
Expect us to sign a winger (hopefully Tom Ince )
Zaha would play out wide...and he is twice the player of Weimann and Gabby, a cracking prospect, would be a huge signing, one we cannot get. |

| Zaha, dream on. His agent will want to extract the maximum fee and salary for his client and place him at a club where he will get maximum exposure. Its unlikely that means a team who sell their best players and appear last on MOTD! |

| We are not going to get Zaha, particularily with the types of clubs swirling around him, A veritable bidding frenzy approaches.
Our new European scouting network will kick in and we'll have some really interesting prospects on the horizon for good money. As for players from these shores- Ince and Trotter would be good signings and I could definitely see Hoolahan coming, though he would need to be vastly more consistent, a problem we have with N'Zogbia. |

Reserves Posts: 215 | Despite his injury I can see bent being sold to Liverpool and him being replaced with Charlie Austin. Zaha is now well out of our price range. I thought we were going to go in for him in the summer as he fits the Lambert mold. Matt Ritchie from Swindon would be a great shout for a young winger. Played very against us and whenever ive gone to swindon he has a blinder. |

| Ok, it's only talksport but they are reporting targeting Duisberg goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald.

Seems Henke is doing his job. I can understand this. Shay is getting no younger and surely wants to play but Brad is doing a fine job, so we bring in a young no2. Seems he wouldn't cost the earth either.

Villa Park Legend Posts: 2520 Location: Always a brummie, but not there now | To be honest I thought we'd go for Hoolahan, but I didn't realise he was 30 , that may make a difference. Need someone like that though, only younger, still think Huddlestone is the one, but have we missed the boat, now back in both Spurs and England side. |

Should be Ireland a kick up the arse to play like he did against Man Utd instead of his occasional shithouse performances |

Cracking goal there Kitan, but I would be surprised if Lambert wanted him and even more surprised if he wanted to come after the fiasco last time.

| Bradley looked like he had never seen a ball before he came here. No thanks! |

You can't expect someone to just come in from a foreign country and be on the ball from the first game you know (unless you are 6 foot 5 and are Belgiun !) |
