| as of 27/10/2011 - He has also made the most interceptions than any other player in the Prem. 34.
I must admit, playing further up the pitch brings out the best in him |
| |
| He has been given the license to get forward by the sounds of it. I know many were expecting goals from him when he joined. But he was asked to do a job. I remember his brilliant debut at west ham,one of the best villa debuts Of recent times.
Not many like him around, never any trouble, even when he was dropped. Gives his all and is now bagging quality goals. He even broke downings leg in a pre-emptive strike.
All hail stanley petrov.

| Its about time we started praising petrov for his efforts i miust admit its just nice to read some positives about our players and club just lately :) |

| Yep, i gotta say, i was a fairly big critic, but i'm pleased to say, this far, he is proving me wrong. If he can keep it up through the season, then fair play to him. |
| |
| a big critic as well over the last couple of seasons, but fair play to him has played more consistent this season, but still slows the game to much for me.
think he did have a bit of wake up call at the end of last season when gh dropped him for a couple of games and he deserved it to be frank, but he came back and played the game a lot better. |

| 9 positive posts...bloody hell is BCV's server down?
Petrov is a real 100% players works his nuts off, not everyones cup of tea, but from my point of view think we look better when he is in the side, and if he bags the goals oyur midfield lacked last season then all well and good |

Legend, one of the most loyal players we have had in years. |

| Is this the Stan we were meant to have purchased? |

Yes, I believe it is murph, it's certainly more like the Petrov that played for Celtic.

| Worrying after two failed attempts it took an ex Rangers boss to work it out lol! |

| Good thread Steff. The much maligned stan has done well both this season and in the past. He was treated with a complete lack of respect by FSM and our improved results towards the end of last season coincided with him being back in the team. |

| Bloody great player, cannot understand why he gets so slated. |
