Kojak - 7/12/2014 06:19

If you want a weird film then this is for you...Predestination. It is by far and away the strangest film I have ever seen! Ethan Hawke is brilliant but Sarah Snook steals it for me. I can't (won't) say much more, apart from I loved it. (Send me back to 1957 F.A.Cup final day please)

Yeah, I saw it about 10 days ago Kojak. I thought it was good too and you're right, Sarah Snook was brilliant in it.

I'd defo recommend it.

Age Of Ice...... Comical, yet it's not supposed to be, film about a family visiting the pyramids and Cairo when the earths' plates slip under the Red Sea and turns Egypt to ice. Typical B movie, no-one you've ever heard of, some hammy acting, cheap special effects etc.

I found I had to sit through it just to see what happened in the end....Lol

Recommendation - Don't bother........ you have been warned!....Lol

'Her' - brilliant sci-fi/romance/drama. Totally believable in it's depiction of where we are going as a race as technology becomes more and more significant in our lives (and souls?). Funny, sad, thought-provoking.

Was really good film. Action packed. Good story. Great acting. Really enjoyable 2.5 hours. If you have seen the first 2 well worth it. Better than lord of the rings in my opinion.

7 Psychopaths.

Thought it was brilliant. Never even heard of it before, but came across it on Netflix. Saw it had Christopher Walken in who is one of my favourite actors so gave it a go and loved it.

Dark, violent, and very funny.

Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed Stop-Loss, based around the effects of the Iraq war on some soldiers, and the title, is about how although there was no draft, soldiers who were due to finish their part in the war, were forced to return. Of the 650,000 US soldiers who fought by that point in time, 80,000 were Stop -Lossed, back door drafted.

Shoot 'Em Up with Clive Owen, awesome film, really smart and stylish action film, made me think Clive could pull off being a bad ass Bond as well.
