Watched Cocktail at the weekend for a bit of a retro blast. Not the biggest Tom Cruise fan, but it's a good, fun film and Elizabeth Shue would get it, that's for sure!!!

Just been watching Code 46 starring Tim Robbins and Samantha Morton. Slightly futuristic, and quite interesting.

Watched There Will Be Blood last weekend. I can understand why people think it's a great film, I however can't say I enjoyed it. It's ruthless in portraying ruthlessness. And that really is all there is to this film.

It's an incredible piece of film making. What do you mean 'that's all there is to this really'?

One of the best acted films you will be likely to watch. No dialogue in large parts of the film, which is brave film making but brilliant because you don't need a commentator telling you what is going on.

There is death, tragedy, greed, lust, love, redemption, hate and fear going on in this film.

It's a brilliant film.

The Men Who Stare At Goats - 5/10.

Started very positively, an exceptional cast but sadly the film falls apart just before the final act and never really recovers your attention.

Love this film. My favourite scene is the business card comparison scene, pure class.

I've just watched American Psycho on recommendation from here. I'm not sure what to think of it really. I enjoyed it and didn't start surfing the internet throughout the film so that has to be a positive review. It's good, I think.

Not seen it for a while, but one of my favourites, Trains, Planes and Automobiles starring Steve Martin and John Candy.
