The Other Side Of The Door starring Sarah Wayne Callies, Jeremy Sisto & Sofia Rosinsky.

After her young son is killed in a tragic accident, a woman learns of a ritual which will bring him back to say goodbye, but when she disobeys a sacred warning, she upsets the balance between life and death.

Good film, well worth a watch I'd say.

Very good British thriller. Worth a watch.

Punch-Drunk Love - it's bad. Not in a good way either. Maybe if you love Adam Sandler, you might like it.

13 Hours- The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi starring John Krasinski, Pablo Schreiber & James Badge Dale.

Excellent true story account. On Sept. 11, 2012, Islamic militants attack the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, killing Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and Sean Smith, an officer for the Foreign Service. Stationed less than one mile away are member of the Annex Security Team, former soldiers assigned to protect operatives and diplomats in the city. As the assault rages on, the six men engage the combatants in a fierce firefight to save the lives of the remaining Americans.

Very good. Well worth watching!

The Brothers Grimsby - it got slated by the critics so I was a bit wary of it but if you like jokes about elephant spunk (like I do) then you'll love it. It's not a very sophisticated film but it made me burst out laughing at least 10 times.

Mission Impossible Rogue Nation... bit like Bond, I think it has all been done before, watchable but I'm more into the tv box sets these days I think.

Eye In The Sky, with Helen Mirren and Alan Rickman (his last movie before his untimely demise).

Excellent, well worth a watch and not long at 90-odd minutes. It's about the use of drones in remote warfare (a very scary concept) and it's superbly done.

Watched this a while ago but Kefkat mentioning Orange Juice's 'Rip It Up' on another thread reminded me of the beautiful, inspirational, existential documentary 'The Possibilities Are Endless'.

'The celebrated lyricist, Edwyn Collins could only say two phrases after waking up: 'Grace Maxwell' and 'The Possibilities Are Endless’. This is the incredible story of Collins, a songwriter who had the contents of his mind effectively deleted after experiencing a stroke. Placed inside Edwyn's mind, we embark on a remarkable journey from the brink of death back to language, music, life and love. With the help of his wife Grace, Edwyn submerges himself in a landscape of memories, as he tries to unlock the story of his past. More than a story of determination against all odds; it is an intimate and life-affirming tale of rediscovery.'

Batman vs Superman

Shit.

Batman gets a cob on coz Superman is too powerful and might one day decide to destroy the earth, despite the fact he's spent his whole life saving it, so decides to try and kill him until he realises their moms both have the same name, so they become best friends.

As plots go it's about as shit as they come.

I wondered how that plot went, they are both meant to be superheroes so wtf would one want to kill the other for.

madness!

It's mental, just totally bizzare. It's like Batman is on his period so just decides to try and kill superman for the hell of it.

But then when he realises their moms have the same name he's all like "ahhh best mates!!!"

And they make that last 3 hours!!! Way too long! And way too shit!

I watched Batman v Superman a few nights ago with a friend, we had such low expectations for it that we actually thought it was alright in the end!

Amazing how really shitty reviews can make a film better!
