Cuban Fury - starring Nick Frost.

The film starts where Nick is a young boy that competes in Salsa dance competitions. Silk shirts, tight trousers, sequins and all the like. Just before a major championship dance he gets bullied, beaten up by a group of similar aged boys. This then caused him to miss the competition and give up dancing.

The film then comes forward 25 years and Nick Frost is now a middle aged overweight single man working in an office that designs machinery(lathes). A new boss is just about to arrive and rumours have it that its a she. Low and a behold a beautiful Latino looking women who loves Salsa dancing is the new boss. From this point on the film becomes a little predictive. However, it is a still a good watch with some good British humour/comedy. His friendship with an Asian gay man, bored husband, ageing geek & and alcoholic bar man(ex Salsa teacher) in Paul McShane all come off well.

Worth a watch - 6.5/10

Young Frankenstein.

Can't believe I've never watched this before. Just absolute complete genius. Loved it. I didn't realise the yanks could be so good at doing almost Carry On style humour.

Under the Skin - Scarlet Johansen plays a weird chick who drives a weird van around weird places, talking to weird people and then probably murdering them. Through the film there is a weird dude on a motorbike who has some weird connection to that chick. It's a steaming pile of weird shite. I should have just gone to bed.

I watched a film with Bryan Cranston in it. It was dissapointing. I think it was one of those substance festival films rather than a proper Hollywood film. I think it was called cold comes the night or something like that, I advise you all give it a miss.
