Me and Mrs Pride were talking over our meal in a restaurant earlier tonight and the name Celine Dion came up.

So when we got back, we watched Up Close And Personal starring Robert Redford and Michelle Pfieffer...... Celine Dion sang the song 'Because You Loved Me' from the film......

Last Vegas... I'd avoided as some great actors and I thought it might be awful (that sounds contradictory innit!) but it was ok.

Ah, started that the other day and switched off, thought it was just me not concentrating. Might give it one more go when not so tired!

yeah, just pleasant but not earth shattering eh deano. Trouble is they have all been in such great films, light ones like that are always going to slightly underwhelme !

Seen the 1st half hour, to an hour of Noah but couldn't get into it.

Not even though it's based on a true story :19:

Another one out of the vaults for Mrs Pride last night. Bangkok Dangerous, starring Nicolas Cage. Still enjoyable.

When the lights went out, it is decent spooky film tbh set in 70's era i think and supposed to be based on a true story.

It was the turn of 'Taken' - the original last night before the match. Mrs Pride enjoyed it...... so did I.

Watched 2 really good films over the weekend....

Friday Night, The Fault In Our Stars..... didn't think I would like it but was actually a very good film. I never ever ever cry, but could feel myself going towards the end of this... managed to hold back though. probably a little bit close to home in all honesty, brought back lots of memories.. good film never the less.

Saturday morning went to see The Theory of Everything at the cinema. Another brilliantly written and acted film. Was a bit ignorant about Stephen Hawking and his life. Found it fascinating to find out so much about him.

Another one Mrs Pride hadn't seen last night. Ghost Rider starring Nicolas Cage. I hadn't seen this for years and must say, .......it was ok.

Under The Skin - acclaimed Sci-fi with Scarlett Johansen: utter shite (excellent score though).
American Mary - horror film, complete and utter shite with some of the worst acting I've ever seen.
Lucy - Scarlett's back, this time not even naked though: complete and utter shite on toast.

It's been a bad run...

Watched a film on tv here last night, called The Medallion starring Jackie Chan and Lee Evans. Bit of a gangster/comedy. Amusing, nothing more.
