Takeover On Wednesday?
Is there a takeover about to be announced at Aston Villa?
Yes according to the Sunday Times.
The article says a takeover by an Irish group will be completed on Wednesday at a cost of £64million with Ellis staying on as a non executive (which makes sense for his contacts + as the main leverage to get him to agree on a takeover!)
The group involved? Comer Homes Group, with Operating Chairman - Michael Neville - said to be a lifelong Villa fan hailing from Solihull.
The report claims Villa will get around £20million per season for the squad and stadium.
We'll see. Might just keep everything crossed in case!

Oh!!!! Please, please, please, YES!!!! If something's not done soon I'm going to have to build my own business empire so that a FAN can buy the club and give the team a chance to regain the glory days. :) Perhaps we can get in a real manager too, one that can do more than moan about the squad. Maybe the squad would show a bit more quality and consistencey if he showed a bit more beleif in them instead of continually moaning, you can't tell me that Wigan have a better quality squad tahn us!!!!
