More To Come From Moore

More To Come From Moore

Kevin Phillips says there is lots more to come from Luke Moore and says the 19-year-old striker has a big future.

Phillips said after Moore's weekend hat-trick against Middlesbrough:

'Luke certainly deserves all the credit he is getting at the moment. You don't want to get too carried away but Luke is a level-headed sort of young lad. I've played before with lads who are young and, having made an initial impression, have let it get to them and affect them. With Luke, I am sure he is going to turn up for training as if nothing has happened and it will be just like another day. In the changing room at Middlesbrough after the match, he was as if nothing special had happened.'

Adding:

'That's the sort of character he is and is what helps to keep him very level-headed. But the potential is there. We've all seen it on the pitch and it's how he deals with it now that matters.' 'If he keeps putting in performances like that, who knows where he can go.'
