Trust Concerned By Interim Result

Press release from AVST

Following the announcement of a £9.4 million loss on Villa’s interim results, the Aston Villa Supporters’ Trust believe it is it is now clear that for Aston Villa to move forward it is crucial that refinancing and restructuring of the club occurs urgently.

Confusion and delays over the proposed takeover, followed by this news are creating a poor atmosphere at the club and a concerning period for all Villa fans. The only way, we as fans can try to help this situation is to ensure that attendances are high. Meanwhile the Trust urges the club’s senior management to take a good look at how they are operating.
