Killie Hot Shot Eyed?

Well, the Scottish Sun has reported that both Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspurs are traking Kilmarnock's young Stevie Naismith.

Ian Broomfield, Villa's chief scout, was apparently at Rugby Park on Saturday to watch the 19-year-old and Martin Jol has sent his scouts to see the Scotland Under 21 striker in the Scottish Cup loss at Tynecastle.

They go on to say that Naismith has been one of Killie's main players this season having filled several midfield spots as well as playing up front. The young striker has a contract until 2008.

Killie boss Jim Jeffries said: 'There will be a few clubs looking because people tend to come and watch clubs who are doing well. But Stevie is tied up at the club until 2008.'

Not only that, but Villa aren't able to afford to keep a loan player, so how would we afford a hot shot prospect?!
