Vale To Show No Respect For Villa

Port Vale boss Martin Foyle says his team can't afford to give Aston Villa any respect in Saturday's FA Cup fourth round tie at Villa Park.

He said: 'I've played in games against big teams. If you give good players respect they will murder you. We are not going to kid ourselves. They are on a different planet to us. But people have already seen this season with Nuneaton and other teams that the FA Cup is special. There's always a chance of an upset.'

Vale are 14th in League One but know that Doncaster knocked Villa out of the Carling Cup. If they come to battle, they could cause the same problems as Donny did, if they stand in awe, then Villa will despatch them with no problem at all.

He continued:

'Even a draw would be brilliant, looking at it from a financial point of view. I have the utmost respect for David O'Leary.'

Utmost respect? Blimey, you don't see that said very often! ;-)
