Steve Bruce (Video) Post Millwall - Bit Too Kind To Our Team

Steve Bruce admitting that Villa found it difficult v a "big, physical, tough Millwall team." They aren`t that big? They weren`t that physical?

He then mentions the injuries, which is alarming, but we still should have enough to play with more momentum surely?

He admits "We didn`t deal with the first ball, we didn`t deal with the second one and when we`ve got it we`ve given it back to them. All in all we`ll take a point, move forward, because on any other day it could have been one of them horrible afternoons when we lose. When my goalkeeper is the best player at Aston Villa, at home, it tells you that we haven`t done enough. It`s one of those disappointing afternoons that you just move forward from."

He summarises "Take the point and move on." Glad to say he also says sometimes you have to credit the opposition and says how quickly they broke. Not sure why we can`t break like that though?

And now onto Derby County away... got to do better.
