Up To 15 On International Duty

Up To 15 On International Duty

Up to 15 Aston Villa players could be on international duty in the next couple of weeks as real football winds up for pointless international games that bore the pants off me.

Having dealt with a few call ups already, here's where everyone else will be.

Jonathan Kodjia joins up with the Ivory Coast for their final group fixture against Morocco on Saturday, and should he play and return fit, he'll be back in contention for us.

Mile Jedinak is with Australia for their two legged play off against Honduras and again fingers will be crossed on his fitness.

With Iceland already having qualified for the World Cup, Birkir Bjarnason travels for friendlies against Czech Republic and Qatar and Ahmed Elmohamady has already qualified with Egypt, but they have one group game remaining against Ghana.

The England Under 20 squad includes Easah Suliman for their game against Germany, and we have Keinan Davis and Callum O'Hare on the standby list by manager Keith Downing.

Youngster Jozef Pastorek is with Slovakia's Under 21s and Mitch Clark and Josh Williams are with the Welsh Under 19s.
