17th Minute Applause For Two Toon Fans

Not much to add from the article here really: www.chroniclelive.co.uk

Tragic news obviously and the football family extends far wider than our own teams, be nice to join in on the 17th minute with the Newcastle fans to show our respects to two football crazy fans whose lives were sadly ended by those stupid and cowardly events.

As the report explains, Liam, 28, and John, 63, were among 298 people who died when the plane was shot down in Ukraine last month. Calls are being made to make a 17th minute applause a season long honour to two devoted Toon fans killed on the doomed MH17.

No more words are needed really, hopefully Villa can put the 17th minute up on the screens as well.

As you said Fear, no need for any more words needed, we will all be united at 17 on Saturday. COTVABU

Nice sentiments J, always nice when rival fans can come together and share in something without the nastiness that the 'game' can bring. Just normal lads on their way to watch a game as well.

Agreed both, we all have our rivalries but we all know what it is to be a football fan and can at times come together!
