Free Midweek Travel For Away Dayers

Five midweek fixtures in the coming season have been selected for free travel.

As part of the continuing Premier League initiative to give something back to travelling supporters - and not just enforcing lower ticket prices you understand - Villa will be laying on five free coaches for our most long distance games this season.

The matches covered are:

Crystal Palace (December 2), Hull City (February 10), Newcastle (February 28), Sunderland (March 14) and Southampton (May 16).

The club have also arranged a reciprocal pricing agreement with Hull which sees the home and away fixtures priced at 25 adults and 10 juniors.

We are hopeful of striking similar agreements with other clubs as well.

Those fans on the away scheme will also be given 15 Villa Cash for merchandising, tickets etc, and for any Lions Clubs who organise a coach to each of the five games above they will also be able to claim a subsidy of a total of 500.

Well done us and Hull City. But, the Chelsea's of this world should cough up too. 55 for a ticket, that's a joke. We should charge their fans exactly the same, and with the extra we get off them, should go to subsidising another game away.

Kojak Chelsea buy players and play football, they don't need to buy there supporters chip butties and bus fare home.
