New Aston Villa Kit Released..

Villa unveiled the new home kit for the 2014-15 season today.

forum

A collaborative design effort with Macron, the Club`s official kit partner and the European leader in active sportswear, the new strip complements the longstanding traditions of the Club while remaining in the forefront of sports technical fashion.

forum

Maintaining a classic claret in the body of the shirt, with subtle vertical blue pinstripes, the shirt is a slim-fit design with axilla micromesh inserts, maximising its breathability.

The collar is a modern adaptation on the classic polo neck, with detailed embroidery down the neckline and button-hole design.

forum

The sleeves are predominantly blue in contrast with a cuff insert for maximum comfort.

forum

To celebrate the Club's beginnings, 'EST 1874` is embossed on the rear of the shirt, which is available now for pre-order from our online shop or to purchase from Father`s Day weekend onwards (June 14, 15).

Fans are encouraged to come to Villa Park for the Kit Launch Festival on June 14 & 15. There will be live music from a host of bands, along with multiple family activities.

The away kit will be unveiled on Monday, June 9.

It's alright isn't it? I mean, the designers don't have much to play with. £48 seems a bit steep as ever though.

Think the Prem should limit new kits personally, but then I stopped buying years back. They look nice, the away kit is back to a bit more traditional. More focussed on the players in them for the new season really, but they look quite smart.

Best Macron kit we have had by a long way, still hate Dafabet sponsor though would prefer Acorns like the kids shirts from last year

Wish our kit was blue with tints of claret. Don't like the pinstripe effect either. But as fear stated, more important is the players in the shirts.

I guess people who fork out for a new kit every season deserve to get fleeced, it's nothing but extortion... and the players obviously feel really proud wearing the famous claret and blue, one can see that in their majestic performances.

Always gonna divide people really but have to agree with Fear in that it is too expensive and changed way too often.
