Culverhouse & Karsa Sacked?

The press are now reporting that assistant manager Ian Culverhouse and Head of Football Operations Gary Karsa have now been officially dismissed following their suspensions back in April.

There appears to be no official communication from the club regarding this, but the Press Association have led with the news of their sackings, and said that manager Paul Lambert is now searching for a new second in command.

They state that the internal investigations we have been holding into the purported allegations, as reported, are now over, hence the decisions to dismiss them both, but there are at this stage no further details available other than the suggestion that Karsa was the first to find out his fate earlier this month, with Culverhouse following more recently.

If the decisions have been made now, hopefully a line can be drawn under all of the rumours and speculation, and all playing staff can move forward together because by God they're going to need to be on the same page next campaign - and issues such as this, whatever the exact truth might be, certainly won't have helped anybody.

As for our temporary coaches Sid Cowans and Shay Given, it's said that Cowans expects to return to his U21 role next season, and that Given is still likely to move on this summer.
