'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Weimann praises 'unbelievable' Lambert

Austrian hit-man, Andreas Weimann has spoken to the official Aston Villa site about the 'unbelievable' job Paul Lambert is doing.

He was quoted as saying:

'I know we have had some great wins and some frustrating defeats but when you look at it overall, you can see how far we have come as a group.

'We are determined to stay up there in the table and push forward now.

'I can't see how the gaffer could have done any better. He's done a top job.'

Weimann goes on to credit Lambert (the man who has cemented his place in the first team) for his man management skills and his mentality, as well as his hands on style.

I'm sure this will come as news to some of you, as you rush to reply. You heard it here fist folks. 'Unbelievably' stuff apparently. It perhaps just goes to shows how far removed and insulated the players can be from what many of the supporters see week in week out.

Pride of Lions
And AW commission on PL's proposed new deal is how much?
Well his 'behind-the-scenes' actions couldn't be any worse than his 'front-of-the-scenes' actions could they.
Yep, I have difficulty in believing him most of the time. Unbelievable Lambert good call Andi.
***** off Andi.
Bikini Inspector
yup, I've found the last season and a half unbelievable as well, especially the cup humiliations v lower league toss. Hey ho.
The Fear
I think we should have a poll up on who wants Sir Little or JG back as manager with Sid as assistant and Laursen and Olf as coach's.

Green Villan
Sounds like he's been asked some very leading questions there lol or he's a botty licker
Yep, battling relegation for the 4th season in a row is pretty unbelievable alright
Stephen Jay Hawkings
Because a player on the fringes of the first 11 is going to say he doesn't like the manager isn't he? Or maybe he genuinely does think this as I think we'd all agree he's a better player now than 4 years ago.
What a pointless statement and article.
My words exactly at the end of West Spam & Cardiff games: "Unbelievable"!!!
all that matters is that 90 minutes, the rest is pointless unless you performing in that 90 minutes.

Hes a player with a poor goal ratio this season, but still getting in the starting 11 - yes unbelievable, I'd be licking the bosses boots too if in his position
Hey give the bloke a break. He is obviously suffering from Stockholm Syndrome
marlin magic
Just about what I would expect from a guy who has just signed a new contract and knows the Boss who got it for him is going to remain his Boss for the next three years.
think twice before you speak, because your words and influence will plant the seed of either success or failure in the mind of another
