Villa Target Not For Sale

Villa Target Not For Sale

Nuremberg have told Aston Villa that Japanese midfielder Hiroshi Kiyotake is not for sale this summer.

It's another left field link from Paul Lambert, but the 23 year old was apparently quite impressive in his first season for the club last year and impressed at the recent Confederations Cup where he apparently came to our attention.

Sporting Director Martin Bader has told reporters:

'We have informed Villa clearly that we have no interest in selling the player. Such inquiries flatter us, but Hiroshi is here to stay.'

Can't say I know anything about the player at all, anybody help?

Just watched the youtube vids of him and he seems to love a shimmy, a dribble, runs acres off the ball, is fast, loves neat flicks and twists and turns, right footed and tenacious too. Could be a gem. Knows where the net is and can thread through balls as well as free kicks and diagonals as well. Even saw a clip of a Ronaldinho 'look the other way' pass. Nice. Let's get him in for Westwood competition and creativity...bye Ireland.

He looks great on YouTube, but I watched all the Japan games in the Confederations Cup and I can't say I noticed him.
