'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Former Favourite On Soon To Be Favourite

Kent Nielson has tipped Nicklas Helenius to succeed at Villa Park and he has said he believes he has all the attributes to be a fans favourite.

Speaking to the Official Site former player and current FC Aalborg manager Kent Nielson talked about our new 22 year old striker and his disappointment at losing him.

'Nicklas has very good vision. Last season he was not only our highest scorer, he also made the most assists. He's aware of his team mates and he has a very good pass. We are sorry to see him leave, but I'm pleased he's joined Villa. If he was going to join a Premier League club, Villa were the right choice.'

Nielson goes on to say that he doesn't make that comment because the club are close to his heart but because he believes that what Paul Lambert is doing at the club means Nicklas will get the best possible chance to settle and adjust to the league, and make his mark.

I can just about remember Kent Nielson as a kid but if Helenius can settle it sounds like we have an all round striker who assists aswell as scores, Myabe another Teddy Sheringham?
