Holman Departs B6

It's now been confirmed following all the speculation that Brett Holman has left Aston Villa.

A short statement on the official site confirms his exit from Villa Park and states that his contract has been terminated by 'mutual consent'.

As fans are aware Holman had two years remaining on his deal after he joined us on a free, and he has effectively now departed on the same basis.

Good luck to the guy, gave his best and run his socks off. He was never up to Premier League standard though and his skills were poor.

Good luck to him, hope he finds a new team soon. Didn't let us down, maybe just not quite the grade.

Got to love a trier. Now we've got loads though and they're all around 22 years old and got more skill, speed and potential. Another of Eck's quality purchases
