Sunderland Moved For The Cameras

Villa's home clash against Sunderland has been moved for Sky Sports coverage.

The game was originally set to take place on April 27 with a 3pm kick off, however it will now kick off at 8pm on Monday April 29 - much to everybodies delight I suspect.

looks like someone thinks it may be a 6 pointer...or a £60m pointer

Let's just hope the site do some sort of deal to counter act people staying at home aand watching it on the box set, we really need to fill the stadium up for such a big game to really suck Sunderland into a relegation battle.
Villa 4 Ever
They will be in the battle by then anyway. Just hate Monday night games, 240 mile round trip on busy motorways just so the lazy have something to watch.
Gordonsleftboot
Gives us an extra few days rest. More preperation time anf prevents a lot of their crowd from travelling.
Villa_Grizzly
Usually hate Monday night games but for once this switch actually suits for selfish personal reasons! First game of the Birmingham league cricket season on Saturday 27. So my son can now play AND watch Villa. Very selfish but for once I am pleased. Must fill the ground though. Need a QPR atmosphere

Oh ffs, not another. Been too many home game changes this season, worse than ever. This was is a major ball ache for me I must say! I had booked with a party for corporate as I don't want to be by the bench near judas, but they can't do the Monday night!
The fear
Unfortunately Fear what suits one doesn't suit another. We do to seem to have had loads of home games on tele this year and not so many away. Or is that my imagination?

Ffs, this was to have been tmg jnr's birhtday treat with his mates. Won't be able to come on Monday. *********.

Had planned to bring my grandson to his first villa game as a birthday treat.. Can't do it on a monday night cuz he's only 5..Also Sky really cock it up for most families when they change fixtures like this..I know several people who do not have season tckets for this very reason..I will still be there though...

Bar stewards! Why not Sunday afternoon!? Monday evenings means a 2am kick off for a 8pm kick off ! I'llbe in bed asleep. Thanks a lot Sty! Toss Pots!!!

Great might now be able to go now, Well done you *****ers.
Bikini Inspector
Ahem not withstanding the undstandable complaints above. How strange is it that three of our crucial games remaining one should involve MON another away to Lamberts old club Norwich and the third a club whoose manager we tried to sign two seasons ago. If you look at all the fixtures it shows just how important these games are and the times they occur at.
Merlin128777
Agreed Merlin, fascinating games, just wish they were all Sat at 3pm! LOL
The Fear
Yet again. I can't believe it (justcall me Victor). This is a game they have promoted to JV Life members; hence I have purchased ticket for my 4 yearold daughter. this would have been her second game as, unbelievably, she has been asing togo again. The innocence of childhood thwarted by a big coporate concernand the constant desire to make a big buck. so much forencouraging supportes of the future. i have been a ST for too many years to remember but I am just sick of this.
