In praise of a new Villa hero: Andreas Weimann - One Hell Of A Player Developing

I should think so as well: Guzan & Weimann In Team Of The Week

Is this meant to be a serious article? I hope not, because even for a red top, it is a bit of a disgrace really! For a start The Daily Star call us the Villains. How many times? We are not baddies. We are Villa. It isn`t Villains it is Villans! And then they just say that Randy Lerner hasn`t been able to sell Villa because we aren`t sexy. See: Worst Villa Article Ever? Villa Not 'Sexy' Jeez!

Lambert video... not safe yet: Click Here

Following the win against QPR, KMitch has suggested that we might have our midfield trio. Certainly gives food for thought, and in the forum, has certainly attracted contrary views. See: KMitch Talks Midfield

I know I` m a sucker for this, hate when the fans - who pay good money to watch some very average stuff - get criticised but do so like an appreciation of what the 12th man brings to the table. See: Football Manager In Thanks To Fans Shocker!!!!!

Daniel Johnson led a second half fightback for Villa as they came from behind to earn a point in the game against Everton. See: U21s Come From Behind Against Everton

avfc_1982: I think the most passionate of fans could be blamed for feeling down, depressed and hurt by the way this season has gone. Hammerings, humiliation in the cup, another relegation scrap we would be forgiven for thinking where do we go next!! For me I have been critical for some decisions Lambert has made and of some players but maybe, just maybe we are starting to see something with what Lambert is trying to do. It might have been for the weekend, but even on a weekday this is quality! lol see: Something For The Weekend (417)

Post QPR win:

Paul Lambert has hailed the team's 'exceptional reserves of courage' following our fightback against QPR today. Speaking to the Official Site following the 3-2 victory over our relegation threatened rivals, the gaffer said he thought we passed the ball well in the first half, but the goal rocked us, and we weren't really on the front foot. Thought for the day: 'Did you see the footballer over the weekend? Kicking two baby cows? Apparently it was a game of two calves.'
