Lambert's Pride Following Reading Win

Well isn't it nice to be able to talk about a victory again! It's been that long I'm not sure I can remember what to write apart from yippee!

Speaking to the Official Site after watching the lads come from behind to secure all three points (has that happened this season?) Lambert was obviously delighted with how the day went, and he believes we were more than worthy winners.

Doesn't really matter at the moment does it, three points are were what we needed.

'The lads deserve so much credit, I am proud of them, they were fantastic today. We thoroughly deserved to win the game and could have done by a few more, but some of the play was absolutely brilliant. It was a huge victory.'

With how we've seen the team crumble at points this season when going a goal down, it will be a huge confidence boost for us to have got back into the game and then taken the lead instead of just holding on for a point, and that kind of fight and belief is what we need to take into he remaining nine games now to ensure we get the points we need.

'We have momentum at the moment, the lads have confidence and enthusiasm for the game. They have a great hunger to go and succeed.'

Fair do's Wigan have a game in hand looking at the table, but isn't it nice to see that gap open up again, now sodding build on it and let's have something to smile about as the season comes to an end.
