'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Missing Trio Explained

Paul Lambert has explained why Shay Given, Darren Bent and Ron Vlaar were missing from today's line up against Arsenal.

'Shay has a little strain. Darren got a kick on his foot. Ron got a knock on his calf early in the week.'

Yup thats the lot on the official site.

No timescales have been given for how long they may all be out, but apparently the extended break didn't do us the world of good in hindsight.

Ho hum.

something fishy going on there. 3 senior players all out with little knocks. Not having it, maybe they questioned him.
