Michael Drennan helped fire the U21s to a 4-0 victory over Sunderland today as he helped himself to a hattrick.

cn't understand why Carruthers isn't getting first team game time even from the bench. He is the kind of creative force we need, always comfortable receiving the ball and rarely gives the ball away

Great result by the youngsters, that Drennen chap is certainly looking more and more like a prospect for the future. I'd like to echo AVB&B in saying i think Carruthers is ready for first team football, not sure why he hasn't been featured as yet. Hope it is not his attitude and a run in with the Gaffer as i have been hearing
