'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Villa Times - 11/02/2013

Unoial Villa News...

I have to be honest, I find this very hard to believe! The Mirror have a report today saying that Paul Lambert may look to keep Richard Dunne. The defenders contract runs out in the summer but despite not playing at all yet this season, Lambert might consider an extension. Ahem... Not Dunne And Dusted?

We've heard a lot of good words about Simon Dawkins, and a former colleague adds to that by pointing out we should trust the judgement of Tim Sherwood.... Dawkins' Evolution

VMF news including 5 off meals in February: VMF Continues To Compete For Honours

Man City ticket offer: A special deal is available for the top-flight encounter on Monday March 4, with 20 adult tickets and 10 junior tickets in selected areas of the stadium. Seats in this price category are up for grabs in North Stand Upper, L2 in the Holte End Lower, K6 in the Holte End Upper and R7 in the North Stand Lower for a limited period. See: www.avfc.co.uk

Post West Ham:

Why were Gabby and Karim missing?

Mat Kendrick: Gabby Agbonlahor and Karim El Ahmadi missed the win over West Ham after contracting a sickness bug sweeping through the Bodymoor Heath training round. Ashley Westwood recovered in time to play a part in the much-needed 2-1 victory over the Hammers which lifted the claret and blues out of the bottom three. See: www.birminghammail.co.uk

Another excellent Grizzly report: Vital Villa's Match Report: Villa v West Ham

Ron Vlaar has admitted he is somewhat relieved that we picked up all three points today, as West Ham certainly threw everything at us.... Ron Vlaar Delighted With West Ham Win

Paul Lambert is a very happy man as you can imagine, three points, many were worried we wouldn't get another three points all season, let alone in one game. I didn't get chance to cover this yesterday, but Lambert almost made another rod for his own back with one interview he gave to the official site head of the game, where he said: Lambert On Huge Win

Strange bunch us Villa fans we get hammered by Chelsea or Spurs and theres hardly room to write something on here with all the moans and groans. We win a game and you get just a few regulars + a couple. It is it just our fans or is it a Brit. thing ?.
