U21s Face Blackburn

Villa's U21s kick off at 7pm tonight at Hinckley against Blackburn, and Gordon Cowans is looking for a win.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game Cowans said:

'It's a big challenge. This is meant to be an easier league after the one we played in before Christmas, but Chelsea are in it and they will have some very good players, as will Fulham among others. We will have to get better.'

Villa opened the new group with a 3-1 to Boro which Cowans said was simply not good enough, so he'll be hoping for a reaction tonight.

Villa:

Benjamin, Bateman, Kinsella, Stieber, Devine, Donacien, Barton, Johnson, Robinson, Crooks, Grealish.

Subs:

Webb, Barrett, Eminoglu, Lyden, Lewis.
