Sylla Will Add Some Bite To Midfield

Paul Lambert has said that Yacouba Sylla will bring some steel to our midfield and he should add a bit of bite.

Speaking to the Official Site it sounds like Sylla could be in line for his debut against Everton, as it seems Lambert is expecting big things from him.

'He is a strong lad that we think might add a bit of bite in the middle of the pitch. We needed someone like that in there and hopefully he can adapt quickly. The lad will come in and give us something we don't have - a bit of steel there. He is someone who I think is raring to go and do it.'

We certainly need him to, but it's a big ask for a 22 year old, new to the country, and expect him to settle in quickly and help change our fortunes around.

Oh here we go again lol! Prior to every game this season we hear these "We're gonna do this" & "We're gonna do that" comments oozing out from Villa Park.. Whether its the players, Lambert or Paul Faulkner there is always this chest beating prior to a game.. Well i will personally be reserving judgement until after the game Paul this time thanks :s What was it last time out? "We will all sweat blood against Newcastle" Hmmmn? Well i didn't see any players with small red patches under their arms or groin regions i have to say.. I did however see quite a few who looked rather green!.. & no i don't mean the away kit!! So Lets stop talking the talk & start walking the walk for a change!

be interesting, hope he is great, for me the step up from French second div to PL is a big big jump. Makoun could have added bite to the midfield, in fact so could have Warnock (he did last year) but ........... we will see, hope the two signings are great and pull us away from trouble but.
