More On & From Dawkins

More On & From Dawkins

Now confirmed by Villa, we have some words from the man and a bit about his history.

Full article Here.

The 25 year old winger apparently suffered a serious knee injury five years ago which almost put an end to his career which goes someway to explaining his lack of Spurs involvement. Apparently his spell at San Jose was during their record breaking campaign where they set records for goals scored and their highest ever point gain.

Sounds a more promising doesn't it, youtubers will be busy I imagine.

'I worked for two years to get over my injury and regain my fitness and now I'm really motivated to make the most of this opportunity at Villa. Tottenham have been great with me and the past two seasons with San Jose have really kick started my career. I never lost my belief and everything I've been through has made me stronger mentally as a player and as a person. I'm really focused on what I need to do for the rest of this season and I'm looking forward to training with my new team mates ahead of a big game against Everton this weekend.'

Another winger in the ranks, we will get a bit more width?

Got to be a huge improvement on Marc Albrighton. Good Luck to the guy. Looking forward to seeing him in action, and hopefully he can and will bring something to the table.

Good luck to him. Glad we got our defender :) looks very promising, shame his invisible. I hope Dawkins isn't Nzogs replacement IF we get relegated.

Simon Dawkins? Richard Dawkins has more chance of 'going up' than we have of staying up on the back of this year's circus that is the January transfer window! Strewth!

Young and hungry, eh? I think the owners are confusing an elite football club with the workforce of an Indonesian textile factory!

I would also like to welcome him, despite what I've said elsewhere, nothing to do with the lad himself, hope he does well for us, my beef is with our clueless owner and board.
