Loan Signing From Spurs Confirmed

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that they are loaning us midfielder Simon Dawkins until the end of the season.

The 25 year old has come through the Spurs academy but has yet to feature for their first team.

He has also had two loan spells with MLS side San Jose Earthquakes, where he found the net 14 times in 53 games.

Welcome to the club Simon.

Easy lads, I understand PL thinking behind bring in a winger but its a gamble because of how we setup with three in the back plus there's Banny, Delph, Ali et al. I've Youtubed "Sy The Sly" and he seems pretty standard.UTV

Lerner is not going anywhere. If we go down the club will be worthless. There is no way he will cut his losses and walk away.

Though he hasnt played a competetive game for Spurs, he is a player that was a late developer due to a long series of injuries. at one point he was released and upon regaining a decent level of fitness he was re-signed, but always loaned out to prove his ability and get to a required standard. He has received great praise in the US and I actually think you are in for a pleasant surprise
