Warnock Joins Leeds

Warnock Joins Leeds

Stephen Warnock has moved to Leeds United on a permanent deal today.

The Leeds official site has confirmed the deal for the 31 year old.

No fee is speculated, but being out of contract in the summer I'd imagine we waived any such nominal fee in return for a full cancellation of his contract.

Bye, bye.

Best of luck. 3rd choice England left back to training with kids! Speculation that we may get Palacious from Stoke according to Matt Upson?!

Good Luck Stephen. Shame it didn't work out for you here at Villa Park, but you now have the opportunity to get your career back on track, and I for one wish you well. Leeds are a proud club, a big club, and it shouldn't be too long before they find themselves back in the top flight.

I thought he played well at times, but the big suggestion was that he had an attitude problem. Could of been so much better, could of been a irreplaceable rock at the back, but in true Villa fashion it didn't work out.

May be plying his trade in a higher place club by next Christmas. God, I hope I am wrong but sadly I am on the mother of all hot-streaks with my sad predictions :(

Always gave 100% sometimes he tried too hard. I wish him all the best and congratulate him on moving to a club on the way back up.

We didn't need him, far too much PL experience for us. Good luck Stephen, thanksfor your efforts.

Didnt deserve to be blanked by PL the wya he was, should have been given a fair chance - maybe if they had, we would be in better shape

I was always surprised that you didnt keep him at the start of the season and play him, either at LB or even CM, where he did very well for Blackburn
