A lot of fans don't want to hear the players talking the talk at the moment, but make an exception for Andi - his talk matches his performance on the pitch.

Speaking to Sky Sports possibly the highlight of the season said about changing our fortunes.

'If you don't believe, there is no point playing. A month or so ago we beat Liverpool and Norwich and then it turned. We have got to stick together as a team now things are not going well. We've got to learn to hold onto leads, it's a massive game for us on Tuesday and hopefully we can start winning from there. The fans have been outstanding and hopefully we can get a few wins mainly for them.'

Do you think we can give Weimann, our main goal threat other than Benteke, a full game when we need to score a goal?

In other Andi news, it's being reported that the club have already opened initial contract negotiation talks with him and his representative. The striker still has 18 months left on his current deal, but he is definitely one we need to tie down to a long term contract.

Undoubtedly the hi-light of the season above Benteke IMO. We have to get him signed up as a matter of urgency.

Sign him up. He never would've had a chance if we'd had Bencht goal hanging but he looks thrice the player he replaced.

Hear hear, I've always liked Andi - his attitude and ability are first-class. Give him a run, put some faith in the lad, and I'm sure he will deliver. He works well with Benteke, and they would be a first-rate forward line in any team. IF they get the bl**dy service!!

Excellent work rate and a top finisher, great potential, get him a new contract because if you'd cut him I'm sure claret and blue would come out of him. Though please don't cut him, we need him in the team.

Agreed. I really like this kid, as he has all the makings of a top striker. He knows how to look for space too. A future Robbie Kean in the making, imo.

He's shown promise from the beginning, with many of us believing he would go on to great things, now he's proving it on the big stage, we need to keep him.

We certainly could do with a few more with Andi's work rate and quality in the side. We really do need to tie him down with a longer contract.
